Unspunnen stamp

I had the privilege of designing a special stamp and first day cover for Swiss Post to mark the Unspunnen Festival. The Unspunnen Festival started out as a Swiss alpine herdsmen’s festival. It was first held in 1805 near Unspunnen Castle, which is near Interlaken.

We’re all different, but we’re still united. We’ve got a variety of traditions, customs, and personal stories. We shape our self-image, our society, and our future based on the foundation of knowledge from the past. The Unspunnen Festival, which connects the city and the countryside, is united on the stamp.
